For Sophia Francesca Mahinay Caridad, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management is a testament to the power of resilience, perseverance, and choosing long-term purpose over short-term comfort.

Addressing the Class of 2026 during iACADEMY's 21st Commencement Exercises, Caridad reflected on a journey shaped by sacrifice and determination. Raised in Negros Occidental and later accompanying her parents abroad during the pandemic, she made the difficult decision to leave a stable job and return to school, believing that investing in education would open greater opportunities for the future.

Throughout her speech, she emphasized that true growth comes from mastering fundamentals, embracing challenges, and learning from failure. She shared how iACADEMY strengthened her critical thinking, sharpened her analytical skills, and prepared her to navigate an ever-evolving business landscape with confidence.

Caridad also honored the people who made her success possible, from professors, classmates, and the institution's support staff to the creators who inspired her creativity, and most especially her parents, whose sacrifices laid the foundation for her achievements.
