Two VISION Creative Unit mentees took to the airwaves when directors Lysa Catolico, Jazmine Pateña, alongside fellow filmmaker Gabriela Serrano, joined JAM 88.3’s The Rock Reset for a special feature on their film, RUNO!, one of the official short film entries to Cinemalaya 2026. Hosted by DJ April, the interview aired on July 13, 2026, giving listeners an inside look into the stories, creative processes, and experiences behind the highly anticipated film.

iACADEMY continues to strengthen its reputation for academic excellence as Senior High School student Brionn Lorrich Lim earned the Silver Award in the Senior Secondary Group, Python category during the Final Round of the Hong Kong International Computational Olympiad (HKICO) 2025–2026, held from June 19 to 21, 2026. One year ago, the best known for One Small Step, the 2019 Academy Award-nominated short film, and Sun Chaser, recipient of the Animation du Monde Prize at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Bobby Pontillas brought the brilliance of Hollywood animation and the foundations of world-class storytelling to iACADEMY through an exclusive session for Animation students and guests. Through his insights and industry experiences, participants gained valuable knowledge on the craft, creativity, and dedication behind globally recognized animated works.

In June 2020, a team of iACADEMY Senior High School Multimedia Arts students represented the Philippines at the Merlion Film Festival with their short film Ten Seconds. Showcased on an international platform, the film highlighted the students' creativity, storytelling expertise, and technical skills, while demonstrating the global potential of young Filipino filmmakers.

Five years ago, iACADEMY demonstrated its unwavering commitment to empowering students throughout their academic journey by delivering innovative, high-quality education. In 2021, this dedication was recognized by Global Brands Magazine, which honored iACADEMY with three prestigious distinctions: Most Innovative Education Provider, Most Innovative Design School, and Best New School for Music Production and Technology in the Philippines.

A decade ago, iACADEMY achieved a milestone on the international stage as the multimedia arts thesis film Yolanda, created by Jen Castillejo and Krizia Villanueva, graduates of the Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Arts and Design under the School of Design and the Arts, earned the institution’s first Best Student Film award at the International Film Festival Manhattan. This achievement showcased the creativity, talent, and global competitiveness of iACADEMY students in the field of filmmaking and digital arts.
