NaviU

NaviU is a hands-free wearable device that helps visually impaired users navigate independently. Its name combines "navigation" with "U" (you), reflecting its mission to navigate for the wearer when a sense cannot. The device detects nearby obstacles and alerts the user with a buzzer, running on rechargeable batteries with a Type-C USB port. The current prototype senses obstacles up to 2 centimeters away, with future versions aiming to extend detection range to 3 meters.
